Hermann Communications was founded by Mindy Hermann, a marketing consultant and registered dietitian, as a division of The Hermann Group Inc. (established in 1988).

Hermann Communications develops content for corporate communications and public relations campaigns, with a specialty in positioning food and nutrition messages for consumers and health professionals. We translate industry lingo into consumer language, and we’ve developed effective marketing support and public relations materials for non-food goods and services, including real estate brokerages, construction companies, and developers.
Mindy has published hundreds of articles in major women’s, health, fitness, and parenting publications and websites. She was the nutrition editor for Child magazine from 1992 to 2000. She co-authored several books, including The Ultimate Volumetrics Diet (2012), New York Times Best Seller 400 Calorie Fix (2011), 400 Calorie Fix Cookbook (2011), Readers Digest’s Change One (2003) and the award-winning American Medical Association Family Health Cookbook (1998). She has been a spokesperson for numerous organizations and companies, including the American Dietetic Association, the Wheat Foods Council, and Sunkist.

Mindy Hermann holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from New York University. She is a registered dietitian (R.D.).
